Final Chapter is the debut EP of the slick and ingenious Malawian based Rapper/Producer Isaac Jimmy who is mostly known by his stage name Ideal. The spectacular album`s rhyme and reason is based on concordant events of his struggle revolving around experiences of affection, loyalty and despair. Ideal clinched to take on a more personal journey to brush off stereotypes that are overhyped with themes on violence, profanity and materialism.
The vitiated affinity between his parents is what transpired Ideal to first seek solitude towards music. He initially progressed towards music production and imparted his signature sound to enliven the underground scene globally. Following his eminence stereo grinding Ideal finally decided to work on a full scale experimental album that would later commence as Final Chapter. Quoting that none can visualize his chronicle and musical needs better than the self made man himself. He solely composed, mixed, mastered and produced the whole project vividly on his own.
The finesse embracing the album lies in Ideal`s trademark production style that are heavily influenced by incorporating elements of soulful, catchy compositions and are significant in transcending any traditional Hip-Hop sound. The artist also managed to efficiently pull off laid back melody side by side that are impressively enticing in hooking up any listeners. The featured artist collectively interblended proficiently bringing out the best essence the album could possibly exhibit.
The theme of the album is impressively illustrated in the cover art which signifies standing the test of time throughout the difficult moments of one`s personal life. The character in the picture sets out to bask in the beach only to realize liaison leading to barren desert and mountains. He however adapts himself to positivity and portrays his obstacle as a beautiful landscape instead. Thereafter taking inspiration from the ordeal he continues to carry on his journey until he reaches his final destination and that is the key concept of the album, the path to the Final Chapter.
Sounds like: The rap influence can be interpreted as a blend between Hayze Engola or Absoul. Melody catchy tunes in the hook and intervals can give you prominence of Jason Derulo and Jon Bellion traits to a certain extent. As determined beforehand the best part of the album is its exclusive production. Ideal managed to elegantly create and design his own distinct sound that fits the concept of the album perfectly.
