Preparation During The First Season

On the summer of 2015 Oztronic made its debut in live showbiz with electronic music as the core of its influence. Ever since than its significance grew in leaps and bound gaining recognition as one of the most happening independent musical event in the region. But the journey of gaining such momentum was never that easy, just starting off with a handful of crowd to running successive sequel multiple times in a year. Oztronic have so far accommodated about 30 Djs from various locations which included in vogue acts from the region as well as from the national and global music arena. 


                Something which commenced as a low key affair turned into a full-fledged electronic music festival after a year of its inception. The renowned deejays that have headline Oztronic so far included DJ Leenata (from Ukraine), Nicky Vibe, DJ Loom, VITZ, DJ INA and Akkummika among others. Even during its prime time it managed to draw closer towards nature and spread awareness by infusing themes such as going green and making use of recycled materials on all of its set up and event production.

                The last continuance of Oztronic also gave a boost in promoting tourism and enabling a getaway like experience for adventurers and hippies alike. Aspects like setting up of camping facilities and tent was unheard of in musical events until Oztronic pioneered it with broad based vision. Throughout the venture apart from the support that poured in from various sphere, two partners that remained crucial in Oztronic`s popularity and growth includes its association with TheRattle and Hum Society in the first year and Music Task Force, Nagaland the following year.

In this special edition of Oztronic Clubology we bring to you an all night exclusive showdown with the founders of Oztronic Music Festival with upbeat anticipation. With the intent of reinventing memories the selective deejays for the night will pay its rich tribute to the modest beginning of electronic genre and its origin that lies in the legacy of disco music. In a way it can also be acknowledged as an adieu farewell dedicated to the the man behind Oztronic before he sets off for greater pursuit and itinerary. Basking on the success of its previous event, Support presents yet another continuation gig to its ever growing community of dedicated fan-base. Prioritizing on all genres of music and committed in providing its platform accordingly, the latest follow up of gig series is conceptualized with the intent of highlighting the finest emcees particularly taking over the game. All the three selected artists headlining the show are distinct in their range of influences but their purpose remains the same. And that is to represent their hometown in principality and position it triumphantly across the Hip-Hop map surpassing horizons. Apart from the intriguing line up, other prominent features that are part of the show include facets of deejaying, live rap battle, beatboxing and most probably finger digit tutting.

METET AND THE ELECTRIC COOL KID HEADLINING SUPPORT EVENT THIS WEEKEND



Organized by an able team of young professionals who have a knack in anything that is music. The support event is successfully running their third phase of consecutive back to back concert series happening at Rooftop, West Road Mall. Edition of this week artist line-up includes the charismatic electronic ensemble METET and indie artist “The Electric Cool Kid”. Overall vibe of the whole event set up is that of something very urban and built on the essence of catering to raw underground club-culture like experience for music enthusiast and artist alike. The “Support Crew” emphasizes on working with unexplored talents attain sustainability and built a platform locale accessible to all.

MOKO KOZA RELEASES NEW SINGLE “ONE DAY-KHOUNHIE PUO”




The indistinct and adept Kohima based rapper Moko Koza who has been doing rounds in the local music circuit lately have released a brand new single titled “One Day-Khounhie Puo” which also features lyrical bars in Tenyidie.

Backed by his distinguished catchy tunes, extent of the past three minutes track highlights the determination to persevere and hustle through hardships of life and is a self transfused inspirational song.

Final Chapter is the debut EP of the slick and ingenious Malawian based Rapper/Producer Isaac Jimmy who is mostly known by his stage name Ideal. The spectacular album`s rhyme and reason is based on concordant events of his struggle revolving around experiences of affection, loyalty and despair. Ideal clinched to take on a more personal journey to brush off stereotypes that are overhyped with themes on violence, profanity and materialism.

The vitiated affinity between his parents is what transpired Ideal to first seek solitude towards music. Urbanjam An Event Celebrating Hip-Hop Concludes

Event Anchor Sunep Oz & DJ Tskillz headlining Urbanjam.


Urbanjam a first of its kind event in Nagaland, focusing solely on Hip Hop and its sub cultures was held at State Academy Hall, Kohima on Saturday, November 12. Organized by Naga Homeboiz and mangaed by Richa Productions, the event was headlined by some of the top acts from the Naga Hip-Hop scene.Starting off with open deck scratches by DJ Tskillz, the welcome speech was delivered by event founder Martin Longkumer stating immense pleasure for the support to a packed audience and also highlighting future plans to make the platform bigger. Sunep Oz was the MC for the show, AK Trigga a duo group from Kohima did the opening act performing a medley of cover, remixes and originals. There were dance performance by Stacks Ivories and The Hop Crew.
